A full year

I have now completed what I set out to do. A posting for everyday of the year.

September 19th

But let all who take refuge in Thee rejoice. Let them ever shout for joy since Thou dost make a covering over them. Let all who love Thy name be glad in Thee. For Thou, O Lord, dost bless the righteous; as with a shield Thou dost surround him with favour.

Psalm 5 v11,12.

How much easier life is with Your shield to cover and protect.

September 18th

Hold them guilty, O god; let them fall by their own designs; for the mass of their transgressions thrust them away, because they have rebelled against Thee.

Psalm 5 v 11

It is my belief that the sins of any person are not mine to judge or act upon. God tells us to love all and leave the correcting to Him. The only person I have to work on is me.

September 17th

For there is nothing in their speech upon which one can rely: their heart is a destructive chasm; their throat is an opened grave; they deceive with their tongue.

Psalm 5v 9

God, full my heart with Your love so that my words can be relied upon, my heart gives love to all, my throat and tongue proclaim Your truths.

September 16th

O Lord, lead me in Thy righteousness because of those who watch me; make Thy way straight before me.

Psalm 5 v8

You know, God , that those who deny You watch those who believe in You, ready to point out any mistake made, mock and and deride Faith in You. In time, God, You will win them too.

September 15th

But as for me, by the greatness of Thy unfailing love I will enter Thy house; at Thy holy temple I will worship in reverence of Thee.

Psalm 5 v7

Thy love never will fail me. The certainty of this gives me peace.

September 14th

Thou wilt destroy those that tell lies; the Lord abhores the murderer and the deceiver.

Psalm 5 v6

It may seem that lies and evil doing has profitted some but this is not so. The 'profits' are material and of this world and in the end they count for nothing.
